Setting up 21 social accounts in one weekend (and everything that broke)

Three avatars, seven platforms each. What broke, and the checklist I wish I’d had on Friday.

Three avatars. Seven platforms each. Twenty-one accounts in one weekend. Here is what that took, and what broke.

The math

Juno, Grace and Sal each needed Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Threads. Three times seven is 21 sign-ups, 21 bios and 21 profile photos.

  • Juno: @junoreviewsai
  • Grace: @scamsafegrace
  • Sal: @salfillsseats

Saturday was email addresses, then Facebook and Instagram. Sunday was YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X and Threads. Three times over.

The non-negotiable part

Every bio says the avatar is AI. On every platform that offers an AI label, it is switched on. That includes TikTok’s AI-generated content label and YouTube’s altered or synthetic content setting.

What broke

Accounts were the hardest part of the whole build. Not the AI.

  • Phone checks. YouTube and TikTok both wanted phone number verification.
  • Instagram logins. Some of them just wouldn’t connect.
  • LinkedIn. It wants business Pages, not personal profiles.
  • Sal’s TikTok. The handle got locked for 30 days.
  • The power. It went out on Sunday. The deadline moved from 2 PM to 8 PM to 10 PM.

None of it stopped the launch. All of it slowed me down.

The checklist

What every new account gets, in this order:

  • An email address of its own.
  • The same handle on every platform.
  • Bio line one says it’s an AI. Before anything else.
  • Profile photo from the avatar’s reference sheet, so the face matches everywhere.
  • A banner sized for that platform.
  • Bio link goes to the avatar’s own page on this site.
  • Switch on the platform’s AI label, where it has one.
  • Connect the account to the scheduler before the first post.

Time and cost

The accounts themselves were free. X runs through Ocoya, so I’m not paying $30 a month per account.

The whole four-day build, accounts included, took 40 hours. The tools run $240 a month.
